A friend in high school thought it was funny that my name rhymed like this, I made it the title of my blog then and have yet to see a reason to change it.
It only took ten months but I finally uploaded part 2 of my Death Stranding play through (a week ago), going to start uploading part 3 and hopefully I can edit and upload the rest before I finish Death Stranding2 which releases this week.
It only took a year but I finally got back to streaming. Going to try and do a full play through of Death Stranding as a lead in to the sequel coming out in June. I don't expect much from this but want to start doing the grind so that it might be something someday.
Debating if its okay to just put up long gameplay vids like this or if I should break them up in to hour long parts. I know the "streamer meta" at one point was to break up a long video like this into multiple parts so you can have daily uploads but I don't know if that is necessary for me. I imagine no one will watch this video now, but maybe one day people will look back and find this and maybe enjoy it. I just don't think I need to worry about growing my channel. I don't think long form gameplays are my main pull. I'd like to edit and present a narrative in a video even if it is just gameplay. None of that matters now though, at least this is a start.
The tiktok was just a preview, I made a longer video about the subject as well. I learned from this that if I'm making a tiktok from a bigger video it should be less than a minute in length.
I've been streaming off an on for little over a year now (maybe even two years but I took a long break after I moved). I doubt it will really take off but I saw it as an opportunity to get back to editing and making videos like I did in college for STV. I'm going to use this blog as a linktree with all my links in the side bar and updates with new content when ever I make it. To that end my latest vids:
Another hit from the Gregory Brothers. I could listen to autotuned Katie Couric all day, and I love the end chorus they made with her sample. Although, I am forced to ask "How many pairs of glasses can one woman wear?"
This is a great web sketch I saw on Topless Robot. For just a minute ignore the awesome metal gear solid fairy tale, I love the Infamous joke at the very beginning. I found out that girl is Ashly Burch who did the art for the fairy tale. There is something about women with really shrill awkward voices (like the one Maria Bamford uses) that I just find hilarious, not to mention this girl knows how to eat a cupcake...or two.
