A friend in high school thought it was funny that my name rhymed like this, I made it the title of my blog then and have yet to see a reason to change it.

New Photos Finally

Been a busy semester, Lots of photo taking. Over a thousand for the DTH but none here. So in my avoidance of studying I've taken a few photos for the blog. Zanda Studying, and me standing on a chair for the angle.
Playing with a mirror.
Playing with light, and slow exposures.
Spelling with light, you can kind of tell that I spelled my name. I ran out of room and cramped the letters together though. Posted by Picasa

Nature

These are just a few Scene Setters, from a shoot I went to with Cameron. I would post some of the pics, but the couple hasn't paid for them. And i dont want to ask them and onward....but these are nice. I love taking nature pics, I think nature is definitely one of my favorite subjects.

Pics of the Darkroom

So, I was designing the a flyer for the upcoming CPA general meeting, and i thought it would be cool to use some artsy photos of the dark room, these are a few of the more interesting ones. I don't really know what this is, I think its an enlarger, it looks different from all the others though. Anyway, the lighting was really low in this room and I couldn't use a fast shutter speed at all. I didn't have a tripod either, and since shaking was already a problem i tried to be creative and adjusted my cameras zoom while the shutter was open which gave me this effect.
This is the one i decided to use. I took a few pics of this enlarger and didn't like them, but then I expanded the accordion part of it so it extended along the height of the shot. I really like it, especially since the background is so vacant. The contrast of colors really lets you focus on the enlarger and its so sharp, you can make out all the details.
This is the main part of the darkroom. It really captures the way our darkroom is, i guess. I don't know, but i Like it.
I like this pic a little more than the previous. All the details, everything is so clear. I took another one where that locker is cut out on the far left, but whatever, this one is pretty good. Posted by Picasa
